John's creative sunburst is centered around a 26" wide piece of yellow poplar. You can see this spectacular site travelling along RT 187 in East Granby.
The SW School in Bloomfield was built in 1858 and used as a school until 1923. After sitting with a "blue roof" for 5+ years, an extensive restoration began in the Fall of 2001. Moore's Sawmill provided the rough sawn rafters and other materials for the job.
